Project: Facility redevelopment
Summary:
A Star Sports continues to work closely and hold a strong relationship with The University of Melbourne’s sports department.
Over the past 12 months the University has undergone a series of re-developments on both their Cricket training facilities and AFL Football facilities.
Cricket Facility:
A removable 5-lane facility with an overhead net spanning 30m x 24m.
All steel structures designed for easy maintenance and handling for grounds staff. Further to this the facility as a whole is designed to be completely removable, providing the university with the flexibility to utilise the area when required.
AFL Facilities:
With the 2016 AFL season approaching, urgent maintenance, replacement barrier netting and safety goal post padding was required to bring the University up to standard.
As with all clubs, councils and schools, the time between change over from Cricket season to Football season is limited.
A Star Sports was gladly on hand to replace both ends of Barrier Netting as well as manufacture AFL compliant goal post padding with custom printing all within a 2 week time frame ensuring no disruption and easy transition between seasons.
